Job summary

RAM Construction in Irvine, CA is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will oversee planning, bidding, scheduling, cost control, QA/QC, and coordination with the project team.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in CM/engineering or equivalent experience, at least 5 years in commercial construction, proficiency with Procore and MS Office, and strong communication skills to drive team performance and client

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred) OR equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing projects in commercial construction.
• Adept knowledge of construction principals, methods, and print reading.
• Proficient with Procore, MS Office, cost management software, and scheduling tools.
• Experience running multiple projects, preferably in RAM Construction core markets.
• Excellent listening and strong communication skills.
• Ability to create and support team morale.

Responsibilities

• Provide full project management across all construction phases.
• Lead pre-construction activities including estimating, bidding, and scheduling.
• Manage project scheduling, updates, and documentation.
• Ensure QA/QC and compliance with plans, codes, and shop drawings.
• Handle change order estimation and tracking.
• Maintain project documentation and correspondence.
