Job summary

CSI Construction Company seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead complex commercial and residential projects from pre-construction to closeout, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality. You will coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams, develop schedules, manage budgets, review drawings, and report progress to leadership.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with travel within California

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience managing construction projects.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and scheduling practices.
  • Experience with project management software (Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project or similar).
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of construction projects including planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and closeout.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and track progress against milestones.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
  • Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance.
  • Monitor project budgets, review cost reports, and approve invoices and change orders.
  • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Lead project meetings with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Collaborate with superintendents and field teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on project status, financials, and timelines.

Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 DOE

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee commercial and/or residential construction projects from pre-construction through final completion. The Construction Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, budgeting, and supervising projects to ensure they are completed safely, on schedule, within scope, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills while working closely with owners, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Work Environment

This role requires a combination of office and on‑site project work. Regular travel to job sites within California is expected. Occasional lifting, walking job sites, and working outdoors may be required.
