Michael Page is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Los Angeles team and lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

The successful candidate will manage budgets, schedules, contracts and change orders, lead meetings with owners and consultants, coordinate with the superintendent, monitor profitability, and drive ground-up, complex projects while building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Experience working for a General Contractor.
• Proven experience managing projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Strong understanding of budgets, schedules, contracts, and change orders.
• Experience with ground-up construction is highly desirable.

Description

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing assigned construction projects from preconstruction through completion while working closely with clients, subcontractors, architects, consultants, and internal leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules
• Manage contracts, subcontracts, change orders, and project costs
• Lead project meetings with owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors

Profile

The successful candidate will be an experienced Commercial Project Manager with a strong understanding of the full construction lifecycle and the ability to independently manage projects while working collaboratively with the project team.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience
• Experience working for a General Contractor
• Proven experience managing projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Strong understanding of construction budgets, schedules, contracts, and change orders
• Experience managing subcontractors, architects, consultants, and owners
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with commercial, office, healthcare, life science, industrial, hospitality, entertainment, or similar projects
• Ground-up construction experience is highly desirable
• A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and desire to grow with a rapidly expanding company

Job Offer

• Base salary up to $185k (depending on experience)
• $650/month vehicle allowance
• Bonus earning potential around 7% - 15% of base salary
