Capital One is seeking a Principal Associate, Project Manager for the Card Payments Well Managed Team. You will drive the delivery of a flawless, highly regulated customer experience using an Enterprise‑Wide infrastructure to process payments and collaborate with product, engineering, risk and data teams.

You will lead control testing, risk remediation, and process excellence while translating strategic intent into actionable steps for agents and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience required.
• 3+ years in Project or Process Management.
• 1+ year in Risk Controls or Auditing.
• 1+ year with analytical, data management, or software teams.
• 1+ year with Excel or Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the PM lifecycle for control initiatives with timely execution.
• Solve complex problems using payments domain expertise.
• Build and manage payments processes and controls.
• Drive preventive controls to minimize risk and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with risk, product, and tech teams to integrate controls.
• Influence management with insights and recommendations.
