Job summary

Hikma Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. in Columbus, OH seeks a Manager, Project Executive to lead complex capital projects up to $100M, coordinating engineering, procurement and construction activities.

The role requires strong PM, contract mgmt and risk mgmt skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and teams across site operations. The position offers a full-time, on-site role with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering.
• 10 years’ experience in project/construction management; preferably in pharma.
• Experience with complex projects exceeding $5,000,000.
• Strong analytical / problem solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever changing work environment.
• Possess good time management skills and perform duties with limited direct supervision.
• Must possess very strong interpersonal and communications skills, written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Direct the capital project implementation through employees, temporary personnel and contractors; monitor costs and schedules.
• Develop complex project scopes, cost estimates and schedules with requesting departments.
• Provide engineered solutions for issues arising during scope development.
• Ensure projects conform to plant standards for equipment, piping, instrumentation and automation.
• Provide technical support to other site departments as required.
• Ensure safety, environmental and health rules are followed by staff and contractors.
• Complete project close-out, documentation, and archiving; coordinate training where needed.
• Maintain alignment with plant operations to meet business needs and design standards.
• Collaborate to establish supplier relationships and governance; negotiate value with key suppliers.
• Assess internal and external resources to optimize project delivery and Total Cost of Ownership.
