Job summary

DJ&A in Vancouver, WA seeks a Senior Project Manager with 15+ years of Civil/Survey experience and 2+ years of leadership. You will lead business development efforts, manage client relationships, and supervise staff across multiple projects.

You will coordinate proposals, strategy, and market research, mentor junior staff, and ensure delivery on time and budget while expanding DJ&A's presence regionally.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of Civil Engineering/Survey/Design experience
• 2+ years of leadership and supervisory experience
• Strong understanding of regional and local market drivers and trends

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy development, pursuit development, market research to identify growth opportunities
• Support business development through client interaction, scope development, interviews, and relationships
• Partner with office manager and senior leadership on growth initiatives
• Cultivate relationships with existing and potential clients; manage client relationships
• Prepare strategic proposals, contracting, and teaming negotiations; build relationships with key consultants
• Lead proposal development with marketing; contribute to key messaging and sections as needed
• Attend update calls and keep opportunities current in tracking system
• Mentor staff and oversee performance evaluations and workload planning
• Oversee design and delivery of infrastructure projects from conception to completion
• Coordinate with team on schedules, budgets, quality control, and agency requirements
