Suffolk Construction is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Estero, FL to oversee project administration, budgets, change orders, and close-out activities. You will manage trade partners, purchase orders, risk, and overall team progress against the project plan.

The role emphasizes cost control, forecasting, and timely payments, with collaboration across stakeholders to protect project outcomes and drive value.

Responsibilities

• Produce thorough forecast of Cost-to-Complete and identify exposures
• Coordinate Oracle with Expedition to identify exposures
• Track costs of field directives and back charges for forecasting
• Create detailed analysis of line-item exposures for unit price contracts
• Follow Forecasting Calendar for on-time forecasts
• Teach budget updating SOP to others
• Ensure project team uses Expedition to track Proposed Change Orders
• Provide Owner with up-to-date Change Order status reports
• Produce monthly Owner Change Orders to prevent aging of PCOs
• Recover legitimate GC costs related to Owner Changes
• Track Contract Allowances in Expedition and submit COR when over-run
• Track field directives and back charges in Expedition for timely monthly processing
• Establish a Close-out Plan early and collect, review, package close-out documents
• Use Noncompliance Reporting System and Work List System for completion phases
• Utilize CCQ process for close-out and teach close-out to SCCI employees
• Ensure Owner pay requisitions are approved by the Owner by the 1st of each month
• Produce Schedule of Values and establish regimented 30-day payment collection for subs
• Review Hold Reports before payment to prevent deficiencies and ensure timely payouts to subs/vendors
• Establish a Firm but Fair relationships with Subcontractors and promote professionalism
• Organize and administer a clear Scopes of Work and well-planned purchasing process
• Understand priority of timely buy-out and monitor urgent procurement
