GBBN Architects Inc in Cincinnati (also serving Minneapolis and Pittsburgh) seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead multi-disciplinary delivery, strengthen client relationships, and drive growth.

You’ll guide teams from kickoff through construction, manage scope, schedule, and budget, mentor talent, and help position the firm for repeat work while advancing design excellence. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on oversight in a collaborative design-forward practice.

Qualifications

• Architecture or Interior Design degree from an accredited university.
• 15+ years of experience, including at least 5 years leading projects.
• Professional license required.
• Strong leadership, client management, and communication skills.
• Experience managing project finances, schedules, and delivery teams.
• Proven business development and client retention experience.
• Strong understanding of architectural design, documentation, and delivery.
• Healthcare market experience strongly preferred.
• Strategic, collaborative, and comfortable navigating complexity.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary client liaison and trusted advisor throughout the process.
• Strengthen client relationships and identify opportunities for future work.
• Support proposals, interviews, and strategic pursuits in partnership with Market Directors.
• Lead complex, multi-disciplinary project teams from kickoff through construction.
• Partner with clients to translate business goals into clear project direction.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, and overall project performance.
• Mentor emerging talent and help elevate team performance.
• Contribute to thought leadership and the broader visibility of the firm.
