Job summary

HDR seeks a strategic-minded Senior Project Manager for the Alaska Resources Business Group in Anchorage. The role leads multidisciplinary teams and oversees public and private projects throughout Alaska, managing scope, schedule, budget, and QA/QC.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree, 10 years of related experience, and at least 5 years in project management, with strong client relationships and communication skills. Local candidates preferred for an on-site role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10 years related experience.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
• Strong interaction with design teams and clients; excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multidiscipinary project teams.
• Oversee all phases of project development within scope, schedule and budget.
• Develop and review scopes of work, cost estimates and schedules.
• Implement QA/QC procedures.
• Coordinate internal tasks and manage external subconsultants to meet objectives.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients and maintain relationships.
• Ensure coordination of deliverables and communication between team members.
• Conduct team meetings on productivity, workload, and quality.
• Collaborate with leadership to monitor workload and resources.
• Work with accounting, operations, and leadership for project reviews.
