The NYC Department of Housing Preservation & Development seeks a Senior Project Manager for the Multifamily Cooperative Preservation Team. The role coordinates complex capitally funded projects, analyzes transactions, and supports preservation finance initiatives to sustain affordable housing across NYC.

You will work under the Director and Deputy Directors, develop resource materials, mentor junior staff, and interface with interagency partners to advance program goals, including Mitchell-Lama

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years of community work or related duties.
• Alternative: high school diploma with six years of relevant experience.
• Experience in financial analysis and underwriting is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manage intake, assessment, and underwriting of capitally funded projects.
• Ensure timely completion of transactions.
• Prepare statistical and tracking reports.
• Mentor other project managers and develop resource materials.
• Coordinate with interagency partners to facilitate goals.
