Related Affordable is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee operations at a 144-unit Chelsea, Manhattan, NY community and support properties across the NYC area. You will lead supervisors and technicians, mentor staff, and drive preventative maintenance and safety initiatives.

The role requires strong leadership, HVAC/plumbing/electrical skills, and experience with affordable housing standards. On-site work with occasional travel and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualificações

• 5+ years in facilities management with multifamily portfolio exposure.
• Experience with affordable housing and HUD/REAC NSPIRE knowledge is preferred.
• Strong HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical repair skills.
• Proven leadership and staff development abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel for reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee building operations and maintenance for a 144-unit Chelsea, Manhattan, NY community and support other properties in the NYC area.
• Lead Maintenance Supervisors and Technicians; mentor, train, and drive accountability.
• Develop scopes of work, coordinate bids, and manage vendor contracts for repairs and capital projects.
• Conduct NSPIRE and REAC-related inspections and support property leadership.
• Promote safety culture and ensure compliance with PPE and emergency plans.
• Provide after-hours guidance and respond to emergencies as needed.
