Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Project Manager, based out of the Carolinas footprint, to lead delivery of complex manufacturing programs for our Advanced Manufacturing practice. The PM will translate production intent into layouts, material flows and deliverable capital projects, then guide design and design-build teams.

This role requires leadership on $100M+ projects, client interfacing, and applying Lean/Six Sigma. Hybrid work model in the US; US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field; 10+ years of relevant experience
• Experience managing design or design-build delivery of manufacturing facilities
• Leadership in large manufacturing/industrial projects of $100M+
• US citizenship required
• Active A/E licensure (PE or RA) preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager on manufacturing facility projects of $100 million and above; own scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk and client satisfaction
• Serve as the primary interface between clients and AECOM’s design and design-build teams
• Translate client production intent into actionable layouts, material flows, and deliverable capital projects
• Lead pursuits, fee and negotiations for design and design-build delivery; Manage subcontractor contracts and scope
• Manage project financials, including NSR, margin, forecasting, invoicing and change orders
• Guide industrial engineering scope (layout, material flow, throughput, automation) with Lean and Six Sigma processes highly desirable
• Lead commissioning, start-up and turnover, including tool installation and production ramp
