Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead major commercial construction projects in Wilmington, NC. This local role requires no travel and focuses on delivering on-time, on-budget results while building strong client relationships.

The ideal candidate will oversee preconstruction through closeout, drive schedule, budget, quality, and satisfaction, mentoring project teams along the way. Proficiency with Procore and related tools is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of commercial construction experience, including significant project management responsibility.
• Proven track record managing large-scale commercial, healthcare, multifamily, education, industrial, or mixed-use projects.
• Strong expertise in project financial management, scheduling, contract administration, and risk management.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and construction management software platforms.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for commercial construction projects from planning through completion.
• Manage project budgets, forecasting, contract administration, and financial performance.
• Lead project teams, including Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, and support staff.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones and client expectations are achieved.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while proactively resolving issues impacting schedule, budget, or quality.
• Lead project meetings, reporting, and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Review and negotiate subcontractor agreements, scopes of work, and procurement strategies.
• Ensure successful project closeout, turnover, and client satisfaction.
• Mentor and develop team members while fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
