Job summary

Jobtailor in Washington, DC is seeking a senior construction leader to drive complex heavy civil projects from planning through execution. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires 7+ years in heavy civil construction, prime contracting experience, and a track record of managing projects from $1M to $10M+.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering
• 7+ years of heavy civil construction experience
• Prime contracting experience preferred
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience managing projects ranging from $1M–$10M+
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project or Primavera P6, Procore and related project management tools

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of heavy civil construction experience
• Prime contracting experience preferred
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience managing projects ranging from $1M–$10M+
• Background in bridge work, post-tensioning, structural concrete, strengthening, or related specialty construction
• Strong working knowledge of: Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project or Primavera P6, Procore and related project management tools
