Job summary

HDR, Inc. in Vienna, VA is seeking a part-time Project Manager to direct single or multi-discipline teams through the full project lifecycle. You will oversee scope, schedule, and budget, coordinate with clients and staff, and drive deliverables from initiation to close.

A licensed/certified professional and client-facing experience in the DC metro area are preferred. The role emphasizes strong communication, organizational skills, and active participation in HDR's employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of large multidiscipline projects or medium-sized projects with high technical complexity and staffing.
• Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently.
• Establish and maintain client relations and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings.
• Conduct work sessions for deliverable development with staff and stakeholders.
• Coordinate staffing and workload through the life cycle and ensure deliverables on schedule.
• Track financial aspects and ensure work completes within budget and schedule.
• Work with Accounting, Operational and Business leadership for project reviews.
• Implement QA/QC procedures.
• Perform other duties as needed.

• Responsible for all aspects of large multidiscipline projects or medium-sized projects with high degree of technical complexity, involving a large project staff
• Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently
• Establish and maintain client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings
• Conduct work sessions for deliverable development in conjunction with other staff and stakeholders
• Coordinate staffing and workload through entire project life cycle, and ensure completion of deliverables on schedule
• Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to budget and schedule
• Work with the Accounting, Operational and Business leadership for periodic project reviews
• Implement QA/QC procedures
• Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• A license/certification
• 15+ years related experience
• A minimum of 10 years of project management experience
• Experience with clients in the DC Metro Area
