DH Pace Company, Inc. in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Sr.

Project Manager to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget by effectively planning, directing, and coordinating activities. Ideal candidates have construction industry experience, strong Excel/Word skills, and excellent communication, organizational, and time management abilities. A valid driver’s license is required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• Project Management or Estimating experience within the construction industry preferred.
• Must have Excel or other spreadsheet software and Word or Word Processing software experience.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills are a must.
• Must possess a Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Ensure construction project objectives are met by specified date and within budget by effectively planning, directing, and coordinating activities.
• Proven track record in successfully managing projects in carpentry, drywall or general construction desired.
• Review project plans and specs to determine time frame, budget parameters and staffing requirements.
• Discuss and establish work plan outline with staff; assign duties and provide technical advice.
• Direct and coordinate activities to ensure the project is on schedule and within budget.
• Communicate with customers to develop sales opportunities and/or solve problems.
• Work with submittals, permits, close outs, and ordering parts.
• Responsible for financial success of projects and related duties.

Responsibilities

• Ensure construction project objectives are met by specified date and within budget by effectively planning, directing, and coordinating activities
• Proven track record in successfully managing projects in carpentry, drywall or general construction desired
• Review project plans and specs to determine time frame, budget parameters, field staffing requirements and allotment of available resources for the various phases of the project
• Discuss and establish work plan outline with staff; assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority and provide technical advice/trouble-shooting
• Direct and coordinate activities to ensure project is on schedule and within budgeted scope; review status reports prepared by staff and make changes where needed
• Communicate with customers to develop sales opportunities and/or solve problems
• Work with submittals, permits, close outs, and ordering parts.
• Responsible for financial success of projects
• Additional company projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
• Project Management or Estimating experience within the construction industry preferred
• Must have Excel or other spreadsheet software and Word or Word Processing software experience
• Must have proven experience in a fast paced environment, juggling a lot of responsibility, with keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills are a must
• Must possess a Valid Driver’s License and good driving record
