The role involves planning, directing, and coordinating activities across carpentry, drywall, and general construction projects. The candidate should have a strong PM or estimating background, proficiency in Excel/Word, and exceptional communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• Project management or estimating experience in construction industry preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word required.
• Must perform well in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensure project objectives are met by specified date and within budget through planning, directing and coordinating activities.
• Review plans and specs to determine time frame, budget, staffing and resources for phases.
• Establish work plans with staff and assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority.
• Direct and coordinate activities to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Communicate with customers to develop sales opportunities and solve problems.
• Oversee submittals, permits, close outs, and parts ordering; ensure financial success of projects.

DH Pace Company, Inc. aspires to hire a Sr. Project Manager in our St. Louis, MO office! Responsibilities will include ensuring project objectives are met by specified date and within budget by effectively planning, directing, and coordinating activities.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure construction project objectives are met by specified date and within budget by effectively planning, directing, and coordinating activities
• Proven track record in successfully managing projects in carpentry, drywall or general construction desired
• Review project plans and specs to determine time frame, budget parameters, field staffing requirements and allotment of available resources for the various phases of the project
• Discuss and establish work plan outline with staff; assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority and provide technical advice/trouble-shooting
• Direct and coordinate activities to ensure project is on schedule and within budgeted scope; review status reports prepared by staff and make changes where needed
• Communicate with customers to develop sales opportunities and/or solve problems
• Work with submittals, permits, close outs, and ordering parts.
• Responsible for financial success of projects

• Additional company projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
• Project Management or Estimating experience within the construction industry preferred
• Must have Excel or other spreadsheet software and Word or Word Processing software experience
• Must have proven experience in a fast paced environment, juggling a lot of responsibility, with keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills are a must
• Must possess a Valid Driver’s License and good driving record
