Plant Construction Company, L.P. is seeking a Senior Project Manager for our Silicon Valley office. The role requires leadership on complex projects, deep Bay Area knowledge, and mastery of scheduling, estimating, and construction management software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor college degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Architecture (advanced degree favored).
• Minimum 10 years construction-related experience overseeing projects valued $50M to $200M.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of the listed software for scheduling, estimating, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Participate in pre-construction activities as needed.
• Act as liaison with client, architects, consultants, and building department.
• Interface with site supervisors and implement innovative construction methods.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules and documents (change orders, subcontracts, etc.).
• Coordinate with on-site contractors for staging and integration with utilities.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and manage cost changes and change orders.
• Review submittals and material deliveries; ensure safety on site.

We would like to add an experienced Senior Project Manager to our team to work within the established culture and guidelines of the Company at our Silicon Valley Office. Qualified candidates will have extensive Bay Area business knowledge and experience, as well as strong communication and IT skills, demonstrated leadership and at least 10 years of prior experience managing challenging projects.

• Managecostchanges,tracklegitimatechangeordersrequests,compilefairpricingforworkandforecastfinancialresultsaccurately
• Reviewandexpeditesubmittalsandmaterials
• Monitorcriticalmaterialitemsanddeliveries
• Maintainqualitycontrolandproductionefficiency
• Maintainimmediateanddirectresponsibilityforproductionphasesoftheproject;resolveproductionproblems
