Per Sé Group seeks an experienced construction project manager to own the outcome of major infra projects on a Silicon Valley campus. You will manage central utilities, HVAC, electrical distribution, fire/life safety, and modernization from planning through closeout.
You will lead budgets, schedules, and contractor relationships for multiple $5M–$20M+ projects, coordinating with internal teams, architects, and engineers to anticipate risks and keep clients informed.
If you’ve spent years managing commercial construction, you know the difference between managing a project and actually owning one.
Here, you're stepping into the owner's seat on one of Silicon Valley's largest corporate campuses, managing infrastructure and capital projects that keep a major technology operation running. Think central utilities, HVAC, electrical distribution, fire/life safety, building systems and campus modernization, not a revolving door of commodity TI work.
You'll manage multiple $5M-$20M+ projects from planning and design through procurement, construction, commissioning and closeout. You'll build budgets and schedules, manage contractors and consultants, review changes and costs, lead OAC meetings, and keep executives ahead of problems rather than explaining them after the fact.
You'll work with sophisticated internal teams, architects, engineers and contractors while serving as the person who connects all the pieces. Your job isn't simply to track progress. It's to see what's coming, ask the uncomfortable question early, and make sure the client isn't surprised.
$75-$80/hr, a 40-hour workweek, long‑term program exposure, and the autonomy to actually run your projects. You'll also get the chance to grow into increasingly complex programs rather than getting boxed into the same type of project year after year.
you've come up through a GC or construction management environment and understand what it takes to build, not just manage spreadsheets. You know MEP and building systems, can own a budget, can hold contractor accountable without burning the relationship, and don't need someone looking over your shoulder to keep things moving.
Humility matters here, too. The best PMs communicate early, solve problems before they become fires, and do exactly what they said they'd do.
