Job summary

Innovo Construction, LLC seeks an experienced project coordinator/engineer for commercial glazing projects. You will plan, coordinate, and implement projects within budget, timeline, and scope, and present updates to clients and team members.

You will review drawings, manage RFIs, handle procurement, and oversee construction schedules, quality control, and closeout documents. US work authorization required; sponsor available.

Qualifications

• 10 years minimum experience as a project coordinator/engineer/manager on commercial glazing.
• Strong experience in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam.
• AutoCAD experience preferred.
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards.
• Multi-tasking, self-motivated, and eager to learn construction industry tasks.

Responsibilities

• Bid process: review drawings, takeoffs, quotes, and proposals for new contracts.
• Contract compliance: review scope/specs and track submittals.
• Design phase: review fabrication drawings, prepare RFIs and incorporate changes.
• Procurement: prepare RFPs, review costs, issue PO and subcontracts.
• Construction: manage schedules, daily reports, site photos, attend meetings, track punch lists and warranties.
• Project financials: submit monthly requisitions, change orders, cost/labor tracking reports.
• Help train and develop office and field teams.

Job description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.

Responsibilities

• Bid process: Review architectural drawings, do takeoffs, obtain quotes for materials, and prepare proposals for new contracts.
• Contract compliance: Review contracts scope and specifications and prepare all submittal information and track their approval.
• Design phase: Review fabrication drawings, confirm compliance with Architectural drawings, prepare RFIs (Request for Information) and incorporate changes.
• Procurement: Prepare request for proposals, review their cost and issue Purchase Orders and Subcontract Agreements.
• Construction: Prepare and manage construction schedules, daily reports, site pictures, etc.; attend construction meetings, field measure substrates and assist superintendents with quality control and prepare and track punch lists and submit closeout documents and warranties.
• Project Financials: Prepare and submit monthly requisitions, change orders, and cost/labor tracking reports
• Help train and develop the office and field working team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience accepted.

• 10 years minimum experience as a project coordinator, project engineer, or project manager on commercial glazing is required
• Strong experience in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam. Experience in AutoCAD preferred.
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
• Multi-tasking, self-motivated and interested in learning construction industry tasks
