Job summary

Innovo Construction, LLC is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator/Engineer to lead projects within budget, schedule, and scope. You will monitor progress and present updates to clients and the team.

Responsibilities include bid reviews, contract compliance, design coordination, procurement, scheduling, and monthly cost reporting. A6+ years’ experience in commercial glazing and proficiency with Office and Bluebeam are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Mechanical/Construction Management or equivalent.
• 5+ years as a Senior Project Coordinator/Engineer/PM on commercial glazing.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam; AutoCAD preferred.
• Familiar with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards.
• Able to multitask, be self-motivated and eager to learn construction tasks.

Responsibilities

• Bid process: Review architectural drawings, takeoffs, quotes, and proposals.
• Contract compliance: Review contract scope, specs, submittals, and approvals.
• Design phase: Review fabrication drawings, prepare RFIs, and incorporate changes.
• Procurement: Prepare RFQs, review costs, issue POs and Subcontracts.
• Construction: Manage schedules, daily reports, site photos, meetings, punch lists, closeout.
• Project financials: Submit monthly requisitions, change orders, and cost/labor tracking.
• Help train and develop the office and field team.

Job description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.

Responsibilities

• Bid process: Review architectural drawings, do takeoffs, obtain quotes for materials, and prepare proposals for new contracts.
• Contract compliance: Review contracts scope and specifications and prepare all submittal information and track their approval.
• Design phase: Review fabrication drawings, confirm compliance with Architectural drawings, prepare RFIs (Request for Information) and incorporate changes.
• Procurement: Prepare request for proposals, review their cost and issue Purchase Orders and Subcontract Agreements.
• Construction: Prepare and manage construction schedules, daily reports, site pictures, etc.; attend construction meetings, field measure substrates and assist superintendents with quality control and prepare and track punch lists and submit closeout documents and warranties.
• Project Financials: Prepare and submit monthly requisitions, change orders, and cost/labor tracking reports
• Help train and develop the office and field working team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience accepted.

• 5 years minimum experience as a Senior Project Coordinator, Senior Project engineer, or Senior project manager on commercial glazing is required
• Strong experience in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam. Experience in AutoCAD preferred.
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
• Multi-tasking, self-motivated and interested in learning construction industry tasks
