Job summary

Innovo Construction, LLC is seeking a proactive Project Coordinator/Engineer to plan, coordinate, and implement commercial glazing projects within budget, timeline, and scope. You will monitor progress and present updates to stakeholders, clients, and project teams.

Responsibilities include bid reviews, contract compliance, design coordination, procurement, construction scheduling, site reports, meetings, QC, punch lists, and closeout documents, plus monthly cost and change order tracking.

Qualifications

• 5 years minimum experience as a project coordinator, project engineer, or project manager on commercial glazing.
• Strong experience in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam. Experience in AutoCAD preferred.
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
• Multi-tasking, self-motivated and interested in learning construction industry tasks

Responsibilities

• Bid process: Review architectural drawings, do takeoffs, obtain quotes for materials, and prepare proposals for new contracts.
• Contract compliance: Review contracts scope and specifications and prepare all submittal information and track their approval.
• Design phase: Review fabrication drawings, confirm compliance with Architectural drawings, prepare RFIs (Request for Information) and incorporate changes.
• Procurement: Prepare request for proposals, review their cost and issue Purchase Orders and Subcontract Agreements.
• Construction: Prepare and manage construction schedules, daily reports, site pictures, etc.; attend construction meetings, field measure substrates and assist superintendents with quality control and prepare and track punch lists and submit closeout documents and warranties.
• Project Financials: Prepare and submit monthly requisitions, change orders, and cost/labor tracking reports
• Help train and develop the office and field working team.
