Job summary

Moseley, an interdisciplinary design practice, seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to be a design leader in Raleigh, NC. You will guide project development from concept through construction documents, coordinating with clients, owners, and consultants to keep projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 15+ years’ experience or Bachelor’s Degree with 10+ years’ experience
• CPM, MCIQ, Licensed Architect preferred not required

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop project designs from concept to construction documents
• Manage multiple complex medium to large projects, coordinating all aspects
• Lead design teams in project designs with a collaborative, proactive, detail-oriented approach
• Balance client expectations within contractual obligations, budget, and quality
• Develop and design project schedules to meet contractual obligations and match team size and skill
• Supervise, coordinate, and assess the work of project team members to ensure quality and progress
• Communicate with all project participants including clients, owners and consultants in an effective and collaborative manner
• Actively make oneself available to clients through outreach and site visits
• Assist in construction administration through site visits
• Foster and maintain positive professional relationships among clients and team members
• Participate in mentoring and coaching of emerging professionals
• Prepare, participate, and lead client presentations
• Additional responsibilities as assigned

Senior Project Managers are involved in all aspects of project development, engaging with the client/owner and driving success within our project teams. You'll provide direction to colleagues and consultants at all levels to ensure projects are completed as planned, budgeted, and scheduled.Work within a dynamic firm culture that encourages collaboration, professional development, and mentorship.

Required Skills:

• Capable of working in a collaborative team environment to meet specific deadlines
• Diligence in monitoring progress, identifying potential problems, and designing solutions as necessary
• Expertise in architectural building systems
• Advanced knowledge of applicable sustainability principles
• Knowledge of quality control processes
• Strong ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing, including client interaction and presentation delivery
• Firm understanding of design trends, construction methodology, and material application

Software Proficiencies:

• Microsoft Office Suite experience required
• Understanding of Autodesk Revit (BIM) preferred
• Bluebeam experience required
