Moseley is seeking an experienced Project Interior Designer to join our interiors discipline in Raleigh or Charlotte, NC. The role is full-time with a hybrid work model after the introductory period, offering a comprehensive benefits package for all full-time employees.

The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from a CIDA-accredited university, 6+ years of experience, and NCIDQ/LEED preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from a CIDA accredited university is required.
• 6+ years’ experience in interior design.
• NCIDQ and LEED are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary interior designer under the guidance of senior interior designers.
• Provide timely communication of project information to clients and project teams.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop design solutions and execute production and implementation of interior design for assigned projects.
• Research product and resource information.
• Develop project presentations and participate in client meetings.
• Prepare construction documents and furniture/accessory packages.
• Conduct site visits to perform installation inspections.
• Mentor and coach emerging professionals.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Conduct site visits to perform installation inspections
• Participate in mentoring and coaching of emerging professionals
• Additional responsibilities as assigned

Required Skills

• Capable of working professionally in a collaborative team environment to develop and document the project’s design while meeting established project schedules
• Diligence in monitoring progress, identifying potential issues, and designing solutions as necessary
• Excellent listening skills with the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Knowledge of ADA and general code compliance
• Proficient knowledge of applicable sustainability principles
• Knowledge of quality control processes

Software Proficiencies

• Microsoft Office Suite experience required
• Autodesk Revit (BIM) experience required
• Bluebeam/Revu experience preferred
• SketchUp experience preferred
• Lumion experience preferred
• Specsource experience preferred
• CET Configura experience preferred
