Role Summary: The Senior Project Manager, Marketing Operations is responsible for leading the end-to-end execution of Cinemark’s most complex, interconnected and cross-functional marketing initiatives — the high-visibility, new initiatives that require greater strategic partnership, stronger stakeholder alignment, and more rigorous operational leadership than traditional workflow coordination. Reporting to the Director, Marketing & Creative Operations, the Senior Project Manager works cross-functionally to translate project strategy into execution.

Responsbilities:
End-to-End Project Leadership

Lead assigned marketing initiatives from intake through program launch, owning the operational plan, timeline, coordination model, project documentation, and follow-through. Serve as the single point of project accountability for executional coordination, ensuring all stakeholders understand what they own, when it is due, and what decisions or inputs are needed to keep work moving, bridging between the program owner and the creative team. Makes operational and logistical decisions independently and escalates strategic decisions and risks to the program owner for resolution. Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, alignment, urgency, and visibility across stakeholders. Drive timely follow-ups, action items, next steps, and accountability across all workstreams.

Cross-Functional Leadership

Coordinate with program owners, creative, channel owners, legal, operations, F&B, pricing, and other business partners to ensure highly connected, cross-functional work and deliverables are clear, prioritized, and stays on schedule. Pull the right stakeholders together at the right moments, set agendas, ensure clear outcomes, drive action items, and keep work moving between meetings. Identify and manage cross-functional dependencies, risks, tradeoffs, and resource or timing constraints, escalating to the program owner to ensure swift resolution. Partner seamlessly with the program owner to ensure execution remains aligned to the project strategy, desired outcomes, stakeholder expectations, and launch requirements.

Brief Stewardship & Process Discipline

Review briefs for clarity, completeness, readiness, and alignment before work begins, pushing back when objectives, inputs, requirements, or deliverables are unclear. Translate strategic intent into actionable execution plans that creative, channel owners, and cross-functional stakeholders can use to move efficiently. Steward projects through our established marketing process, ensuring roles, responsibilities, approval requirements, and decision points are understood and followed. Serve as an operational partner who balances speed with structure, enabling efficient collaboration while maintaining the controls needed for complex work. Coach and mentor project managers, helping to establish process documentation, timeline standards and modeling the process operating model.

Centralized Communications & Stakeholder Alignment

Serve as the central communication hub for assigned initiatives, ensuring information is clear, actionable, and consistently shared with the right stakeholders. Facilitate kickoffs, working sessions, stakeholder reviews, approvals, coordination meetings, and project updates with clear agendas, outcomes, decisions, and documented next steps. Consolidate and synthesize stakeholder feedback before routing revisions to the creative team, identifying conflicting inputs and surfacing decisions that require program owner direction.

Workfront, Documentation & System of Record Management

Build, enter, maintain, and manage assigned projects in Adobe Workfront. Maintain accurate timelines, assignments, approvals, deliverables, documentation, and status updates, partnering closely with creative and developing agile approaches to re-plan when unforeseen circumstances impact project delivery. Ensure all workstreams are captured under an appropriate project structure, so stakeholders have a clear view of scope, ownership, timing, and dependencies.

Approval, Production & Launch Readiness

Manage project review and approval workflows from concept through final delivery, ensuring stakeholder feedback, revisions, and approvals are tracked and completed on time. Ensure field and operations communications are prepared, coordinated, and delivered on schedule when applicable. Oversee print production and vendor coordination for assigned programs. Check that all requested creative assets have been delivered and traffic completed assets to the appropriate channel owners.

Creative Team Partnership

Partner closely with creative team leadership to align project timelines with creative capacity, creative workflow requirements, review cycles, approvals, priorities, and delivery expectations. Ensure creative has the information timing context approvals and stakeholder clarity needed to execute effectively. Maintain alignment between the overall project plan and the creative production schedule. Help create smart, efficient collaboration with the Creative team while maintaining momentum and needed process controls.

Post-Mortems, Learning & Continuous Improvement

Support program owner in development of program measurement and post-mortem. Identify opportunities to continuously improve efficiency, reduce friction, improve stakeholder clarity, and help the marketing operations function scale its capacity over time.

Requirements:
Required Qualifications
  • 8 years of project management experience, ideally within a creative services, in-house agency, advertising agency, or corporate marketing environment.
  • PMP certification.
  • Able to function independently, exercising sound judgement and driving stakeholders to timely decisions and outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large, complex, cross-functional, multi-channel marketing initiatives with multiple stakeholders and tight timelines.
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Workfront or a comparable project management platform.
  • Strong ability to build and manage timelines, dependencies, deliverables, approvals, stakeholder communications, and project documentation.
  • Proven ability to identify risks, solve problems, recommend tradeoffs, and drive projects forward in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, including the ability to run efficient meetings, write or evaluate clear briefs, synthesize feedback, and navigate cross-functional relationships with diplomacy.
  • Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple competing priorities without losing visibility into status, risks, or next steps.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and building structure where requirements, inputs, or ownership are unclear.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, video, experiential, loyalty, print, in-theater, or similar channels.
  • Experience working with creative teams and creative development processes.
  • Familiarity with RACI frameworks, stage-gate processes, phase-based workflows, or formalized marketing operations processes.
  • Experience overseeing print production, vendor relationships, fulfillment logistics, warehouse maintenance, or reprint management.
