Senior Project Manager

Overview:

CACI is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee projects within the Global Operations Center (GOC) Support division, supporting USSTRATCOM's J3 and commander. This role demands strategic leadership, expert project management skills, and an understanding of defense operations. Location: Omaha, Nebraska. Contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage mission system services, including lifecycle, engineering, integration, and sustainment of systems and connectivity.
  2. Manage assigned projects, including requirements, scope, budget, schedule, and performance.
  3. Monitor and report on project performance, budget, and schedule.
  4. Provide progress reviews to the Government as needed.
  5. Assist with policy implementation, standards, methodologies, and preparation of studies and reports.
  6. Apply comprehensive knowledge to high-impact assignments.
  7. Lead major technology initiatives.
  8. Evaluate performance and recommend changes for project growth and success.
  9. Serve as a technical expert across projects.
  10. Manage and mentor mid-level project managers.
  11. Work rotating shifts as required.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned to meet mission needs and USSTRATCOM objectives.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related; Master’s preferred.
  2. At least 10 years in project management, especially engineering in defense/military contexts.
  3. Proven experience managing large-scale projects, preferably in defense agencies.
  4. Required 8140 Cert: 802 - Intermediate or equivalent cyber certification; or applicable degree or training.
  5. Strong leadership, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  6. Top Secret with SCI eligibility clearance.
