Job summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. in Olathe, KS, is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget by planning, directing, and coordinating activities across carpentry, drywall, and general construction.

Responsibilities include reviewing plans, assigning duties, monitoring progress, coordinating with customers, managing submittals and permits, and ensuring financial success of projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• PM or Estimating experience within construction preferred.
• Excel or Word experience required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and specs to determine time frame, budget, staffing, and resources.

DH Pace Company, Inc. aspires to hire a Sr. Project Manager in our Olathe, KS office! Responsibilities will include ensuring project objectives are met by specified date and within budget by effectively planning, directing, and coordinating activities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure construction project objectives are met by specified date and within budget by effectively planning, directing, and coordinating activities
• Proven track record in successfully managing projects in carpentry, drywall or general construction desired
• Review project plans and specs to determine time frame, budget parameters, field staffing requirements and allotment of available resources for the various phases of the project
• Discuss and establish work plan outline with staff; assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority and provide technical advice/trouble-shooting
• Direct and coordinate activities to ensure project is on schedule and within budgeted scope; review status reports prepared by staff and make changes where needed
• Communicate with customers to develop sales opportunities and/or solve problems
• Work with submittals, permits, close outs, and ordering parts.
• Responsible for financial success of projects
• Additional company projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
• Project Management or Estimating experience within the construction industry preferred
• Must have Excel or other spreadsheet software and Word or Word Processing software experience
• Must have proven experience in a fast paced environment, juggling a lot of responsibility, with keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills are a must
• Must possess a Valid Driver's License and good driving record
