As the company continues to expand across the Southeast, a highly respected, employee-owned, multi-$B+, Top ENR general contractor is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager to join its North Carolina team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall delivery of complex Food & Beverage and Manufacturing projects from preconstruction through completion.
- Own project budget, schedule, quality, safety, risk, and overall financial performance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Lead project planning, procurement, contract administration, scheduling, cost control, and change management.
- Oversee subcontractor performance, negotiations, change orders, and commercial issues.
- Monitor project financials, forecasting, and cost-to-complete throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead project meetings and ensure clear communication across all stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining schedule and client expectations.
- Partner with field leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards.
- Support client development and repeat business through exceptional project delivery.
- Mentor and develop Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, and other team members.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager or Project Manager with a reputable commercial general contractor.
- Strong experience delivering Food & Beverage, Manufacturing, Industrial, or similarly complex projects.
- Experience managing projects from preconstruction through completion.
- Strong understanding of construction operations, scheduling, contracts, procurement, and project financials.
- Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and communicate with senior leadership.
- Experience leading project teams and managing subcontractor partners.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage risk, change, and profitability.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
