Job summary

GH Engage, a Long Island–based construction management and development firm, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead complex projects from preconstruction through closeout on-site across Long Island and NYC. You will manage schedules, budgets, and resources while maintaining a strong on-site presence and guiding teams to successful client outcomes.

You will liaise with clients and consultants, coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors, and ensure safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• Senior Project Manager experience in construction.
• Strong leadership and client-facing skills.
• Experience in Long Island and NYC markets is preferred.
• PMP/OSHA certifications are valued; AutoDesk Build is a plus.

Their portfolio includes industrial, multifamily, healthcare, education, commercial, and hospitality projects, with a track record of delivering hundreds of ground-up builds and billions in construction value.

This is a senior leadership role offering the opportunity to work on large-scale, high-impact developments within a company known for its relationship-driven approach, transparency, and consistent delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring successful delivery across all phases
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource planning
• Maintain a strong on-site presence across Long Island and NYC projects
• Act as the primary liaison for clients, consultants, and key stakeholders
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors
• Prepare scopes of work and manage subcontractor procurement
• Negotiate contracts and drive strong commercial outcomes
• Lead and mentor project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability
• Ensure adherence to all health & safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Track project performance and deliver detailed reporting
• Oversee requisitions, cost tracking, and financial management

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager within construction
• Strong experience delivering projects in the Long Island and/or NYC markets
• Background across ground-up and complex commercial or multifamily projects preferred
• In-depth understanding of construction methodologies and project delivery
• Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoDesk Build preferred
• PMP certification (preferred)
• OSHA certification required
