Job summary

Jobot, a Wisconsin general contractor with a healthcare construction practice, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead healthcare projects from preconstruction through completion. You will be the main contact for owners, architects, and project teams, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to schedules.

The role emphasizes directing PMs/engineers, managing budgets and changes, and collaborating with leadership on BD efforts. A PM cert and healthcare experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
• 10+ years of healthcare construction experience.
• Project Management certification.
• ASHE certification or healthcare-focused education preferred.
• Strong preconstruction and estimating skills.
• Able to read drawings, interpret codes, and understand all phases of building design.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple healthcare projects through preconstruction and construction.
• Plan and coordinate all project phases to meet schedule, budget, and funding requirements.
• Prepare and review proposals, estimates, drawings, and specifications.
• Assist with estimating and budgeting for conceptual and negotiated projects.
• Obtain building, erosion control, and dewatering permits as needed.
• Manage scope changes, change orders, pricing, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
• Review invoices, submit pay applications, and complete job cost adjustments.
• Conduct quarterly job cost forecast analysis.
• Work with superintendents, project teams, owners, architects, and subcontractors, and help resolve disputes.
• Prepare project update reports and attend construction and project management meetings.
• Support marketing and business development through client relationships and industry contacts.
• Provide day-to-day direction and oversight to Project Managers, Project Engineers, Field Engineers, and interns.
• Follow and promote safety and quality programs on every project.

• Strong preconstruction and estimating skills
