Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join one of our well-known global pharmaceutical clients. Hybrid in Mettawa, IL, pay $35-43/hr on a 1-year contract.

You will develop and update project timelines from initiation to completion across internal departments and assist on print, digital and video projects. You will facilitate ongoing, timely and accurate communications to ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget, track time daily, report to the account

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of ad agency experience in the last 3-5 years.
• 1-5 years of pharmaceutical agency experience.
• Excellent communications skills: verbal, presentation, written.
• High energy, positive, organized in a high-visibility role.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage high-volume workloads.
• Familiarity with corporate branding, promotional material development, and agency workflow.

Responsibilities

• Pay: $35-43/hr depending on experience (W2 and benefit options)
• Location: Hybrid in Mettawa, IL (T-TR onsite)
• Duration: 1 year to start (potential to extend / convert)
• Develop and update project timelines from initiation to completion across internal departments
• Assist on print, digital and video projects, including trafficking all projects through the Agency
• Help facilitate ongoing, timely and accurate communications to ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget
• Track time on a daily basis
• Report to assigned Ad Agency account manager
• Partner with creative team on project initiatives
• Adhere to all company-wide financial policies

Senior Project Manager Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of ad agency experience required (minimum) within the last 3-5 years, project management experience a plus
• 1-5 years of pharmaceutical (not healthcare) experience within the agency
• Excellent communications skills: verbal, presentation, written
• High energy, positive, organized individual who is comfortable in a high-visibility role
• Great collaborator with ability to focus on both the big picture and small details
• Understand the client's guidelines including, but not limited to, corporate branding, promotional material development, Veeva PromoMats review and corporate compliance
• Understand the Agency Workflow Process including project initiation and kickoff, collaboration, necessary approvals, production and archiving
• Demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and multi-task to enhance productivity and manage workload
• Possess ability to work in a high-volume, rapidly paced environment
