You will be required to develop and maintain detailed, robust, and high-quality risk and project plans, adjusting as necessary throughout the project lifecycle. Effective communication and negotiation skills are essential as you will interact with various levels within the team and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects end-to-end to ensure timely delivery, budget adherence, and client satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain risk and project plans, including resources, scope, schedule, and cost.
- Understand and adjust project plans based on scope changes, ensuring communication of changes.
- Maintain ongoing communication with team and stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding of roles and responsibilities.
- Negotiate resource requirements with management when faced with priority conflicts.
- Conduct regular work streams and project meetings, documenting and following up on actions and risks.
- Assign work to entry-level professional and support staff, adhering to departmental standards and procedures.
- Review significant project proposals of high complexity, validate project requirements, and recommend changes as needed.
- Explore and recommend solutions to project requirements without identified precedent.
- Recommend new standards and procedures based on project experience and results.
- Provide project/program management expertise and guidance to regional, divisional, and global project management communities.
- Facilitate regional/divisional governance and portfolio oversight.
- Guide development and implementation of standards, methods, tools, and templates for project management, execution, and reporting.
- Manage regular project/program assessments through toll gate reviews and health checks.
Essential Skills
- Strong project management skills
- Experience in program management
- Familiarity with PMO functions
- PMP certification
- Understanding of project life cycle
- 5-10 years of project management experience
- Bachelor's Degree
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- PMP certification preferred
Work Environment
This position is 100% remote and can be performed across all time zones. The role requires flexibility and adaptability to work in a virtual environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $70.00/hr.
