Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required (Master's preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of progressive engineering experience, including 8+ years PM experience.
• PE license or PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own full project delivery, scope, budget, schedule, and client relationships on major electric distribution initiatives.
• Develop work with specific clients and lead marketing plans for target market areas as a seller/doer.
• Lead and mentor other Project Managers, setting vision and strategy for the team.
• Prepare proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations, and project closeout documents.
• Track and oversee multiple projects, ensuring quality control and compliance with company standards.
• Interpret client contracts and manage client relationships.

We're searching for a Senior Project Manager to join a growing Electric Distribution team in Atlanta, GA or Houston, TX. In this strategic "seller/doer" role, you'll oversee initiatives that enhance the performance, reliability, and long-term sustainability of electric distribution systems from infrastructure upgrades and system expansions to resiliency and storm-hardening efforts while playing a key role in growing client relationships and leading other Project Managers.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead and mentor other Project Managers, setting vision and strategy for the team
• Prepare proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations, and project closeout documents
• Track and oversee multiple projects, ensuring quality control and compliance with company standards
• Play a key role in client contract interpretation and relationship management

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required (Master's preferred)
• Minimum 10 years of progressive engineering experience, including 8+ years of project management experience
• PE license or PMP certification preferred
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage client relationships, and oversee project accounting processes
• Experience preparing proposals, project documentation, and interpreting client contracts
• Proficiency with MS Project, Primavera P6, and Deltek Vision preferred
• Ability to travel as needed
