Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead full project lifecycle from planning through closeout.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk registers.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, product, operations, and stakeholders.
  • Drive milestones and ensure delivery within scope and schedule.
  • Facilitate meetings, provide executive status updates, and communicate risks.
  • Oversee scope and change management throughout the project lifecycle.

Senior Technical Project Manager

Location: Denver, CO hybrid 4 days in office, 1 day remote

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to lead complex initiatives supporting a large-scale video engineering organization. This role is ideal for someone who has managed technical projects involving video delivery platforms, network infrastructure, and engineering teams. The successful candidate will oversee projects from initiation through implementation while ensuring milestones, budgets, timelines, and quality objectives are achieved.

This is a highly collaborative role requiring strong leadership, stakeholder management, and the ability to work across engineering, product, and operations teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the full project lifecycle from planning and requirements through implementation and project closeout.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, risk registers, and status reports.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders.
  • Drive project milestones and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule and within scope.
  • Facilitate project meetings, provide regular executive status updates, and communicate risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
  • Manage project scope and oversee change management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Allocate and coordinate project resources while ensuring accountability across teams.
  • Identify project risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure projects meet established quality standards, business objectives, and operational requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders while providing leadership and direction throughout each phase of the project.
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of Technical Project Management experience leading large, enterprise-level technology initiatives.
  • Experience managing projects within video engineering environments.
  • Understanding of video delivery technologies, including:
    • QAM (Quadrature Amplitude Modulation)
    • IP Video
    • CDN (Content Delivery Networks)
  • Proven experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Strong background working with engineering and infrastructure teams.
  • Experience with project budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, and risk management.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience working within telecommunications, broadband, cable, media, or video streaming environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
  • Experience using:
    • Microsoft Project
    • Microsoft Visio
    • Microsoft Excel
    • Microsoft Word
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
