Job summary

Newmark Group, Inc. seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead office space projects, tenant improvements, site work and space reconfiguration from planning to delivery. You will serve as primary client contact and manage budgets and schedules to ensure successful completion.

This role requires coordinating architects, engineers, vendors, and internal teams while ensuring compliance with rental regulations and fiduciary responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Design, Facilities Management or Construction management.
  • Minimum 8 years PM experience.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of 3+ projects.
  • Valid real estate license per state, as applicable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.

  • Monitor project phases and manage scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Coordinate with Facilities Management, IS, Multimedia, Mail Services, Copier Services, Amenities and Security.
  • Provide and review the accuracy of project materials.
  • Work with the client to determine project budgets.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Senior Project Manager provides project management services associated with office space, major tenant improvements, site work and space reconfiguration projects within assigned properties from the planning phase through final completion and delivery to the client. This role is responsible for the day to day contact with and for the client and is responsible for meeting project fiduciary requirements and time schedules.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all related contracted services including architectural, engineering, construction and relocation services (including furniture procurement and installation).
  • Monitor all phases of a project and promptly address any changes to the original scope of services and the impact to the project schedule and budget. Continually assess project needs and resources available to complete the project successfully.
  • Take corrective actions as warranted, and integrating related functions such as Facilities Management, IS, Multimedia, Mail Services, Copier Services, Amenities and Security and any required base building trades.
  • Provide and/or review the accuracy of project materials.
  • Work with the management and client to determine project budgets.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree – preferably in Architecture, Design, Facilities Management or Construction management.
  • Minimum of 8 years related Project Manager experience.
  • Knowledge in all aspects of business including leasing and construction management.
  • Experience being responsible for a portfolio of 3 or more projects with direct reports required.
  • Valid real estate license per State requirements, as applicable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of financial terms and principles. Experience managing budgets.
  • Understanding and knowledge of necessary regulations, in which work is being performed, to ensure compliance.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems (i.e., the ability read drawings and understand the primary components and distribution).
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
