Senior Project Manager – Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center

Lead and manage high‑priority quality improvement initiatives within the Ohio Department of Medicaid’s State Directed Payment (SDP) IMPACT program. The role serves as a lead coordinator for hospital‑level workstreams, driving research and administrative efforts necessary to align hospital performance with statewide health goals.

Position Overview

This position is limited to approximately two years, ending on June 30, 2028, the project lifecycle of the Ohio Department of Medicaid’s State Directed Payment‑IMPACT Network program.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the research and administrative efforts of project team members
  • Manage relationships with project sponsors and external partners
  • Draft technical reports and stakeholder communications
  • Provide subject‑matter expertise on quality improvement and/or health policy
  • Perform project‑related research and technical assistance, including drafting and formatting change packages and key driver diagrams
  • Coaching on QI tools, basic data analysis, and construction of process metrics using Excel
  • Other activities as outlined in the detailed responsibilities section below
Minimum Education

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent is required.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of four years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, or two years of relevant experience with a master’s degree
  • Successful completion of a background check
  • Possible pre‑employment physical and drug screen
Additional Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in quality improvement science, including but not limited to IHI Breakthrough Series Model, Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt), or Lean Tools
