Job Summary

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the effective management of all assigned projects from initiation through planning, executing, controlling, and closing. Project Managers are dynamic, cross-functional leaders in our organization. Typical projects include the onboarding of new business opportunities, driving operational excellence initiatives, and implementing technology solutions that accelerate our business. This role requires strong leadership, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Monitor progress on all open new business transitions and internal projects, ensuring achievement of project schedule, budget, and scope; best practices are leveraged, risks are properly managed and escalated, and opportunities for improvement and training are identified and addressed.
  • Manage assigned projects from initiation to close-out, including development and maintenance of all project documentation, providing routine status updates (quantitative and qualitative) to company leadership while staying within schedule and budget.
  • Initiate new process improvement ideas; identify team and organizational needs and suggest solutions; maintain a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Develop and grow strong relationships across the organization at all levels.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent required. Equivalent education could include an Associate’s degree or technical trade school completion with four or more years of administrative/planning support to an organization in facilities management or on‑site experience in a production or warehouse environment. MBA desired.
  • Four to seven years of experience in a Project Management environment.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license; ability to travel to Canada (valid passport) preferred.
  • Active membership in an accredited facilities or project management institute or association desired. PMP, CAPM, or CRL certification desired.
  • Strong written and verbal command of the English language required.
  • Exceptional working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Visio, and Project, is required.
  • Knowledge and understanding of CMMS systems desired; Corrigo experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with MS Power Automate/PowerBI platform desired.
  • Demonstrated core project management skills, including detailed task and milestone planning, meeting facilitation, influence leadership, and stakeholder management.
  • Exceptional problem‑solving skills; demonstrated ability to consider and account for second‑ and third‑order effects in complex projects.
  • Critical thinking acumen; demonstrated ability to challenge assumptions, identify risks, and facilitate action‑oriented discussion.
  • Comfortable with presenting/communicating in a high‑stakes environment, including with company and customer executives.
  • Able to lead with influence alone; proven ability to gain alignment and solve organizational problems without direct oversight over personnel in other departments who form the cross‑functional team.
  • Industry knowledge; familiarity with mechanical systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire/life/safety; ability to read technical drawings, site plans, and legal language.
  • Exceptional time management and detail orientation; able to balance multiple competing demands and priorities.
  • Continuous improvement mindset; open to learning new skills and passionate about innovation and operational excellence.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid environment; takes initiative.
  • Team orientation; shares knowledge and expertise freely and committed to the success of the team.
Physical Demands
  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk, hear, taste and smell. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Perform work on a roof level. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus, determine full range of colors in work areas, drawings and mapping. Ability to move about commercial properties and construction sites, through tight passageways and corridors. On feet as project task requirements dictate.
  • However, most of the time, physical demands are limited to those related to sitting at a desk and using a computer, keyboard, and mouse.
Work Environment
  • While performing the duties of this Job, the majority of the time the employee would be working in a standard office environment. The employee may also be exposed to moving mechanical parts and may work in high precarious places; the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, extreme cold, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock and vibration. The employee may at times work in an environment where the following safety equipment are needed: steel-toecap shoes, hearing protection, hardhat eye protection, and/or hair protection. Employee would need to abide by all safety guidelines including OSHA regulations, lock-out/tag-out, etc. Work schedule can be affected by production, downtime and many other variables. Candidates should be extremely flexible with non-customary schedules and weekend work.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually negligible but may at times be moderate.
  • Travel is solely business-driven; flexibility is required and all candidates should be prepared to travel on a monthly basis as part of this job. Travel may vary 10%–50% based on assigned projects.
