Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a seasoned Project Manager in Chicago to lead end-to-end delivery of software and digital transformation initiatives. You will work with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, stakeholders, and development teams to shape scope, prioritize backlogs, and drive releases across multiple teams.

You will champion Agile practices, mentor teams, and maintain transparent communication, ensuring on-time, within-scope, and quality outcomes in a dynamic, distributed environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
  • 8+ years of project management experience.
  • 3+ years managing Agile projects.
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and practices.
  • Experience with software development or digital transformation projects.
  • Proficiency with Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello or Rally.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery using Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
  • Define project scope, priorities, deliverables, timelines, and release plans with stakeholders.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain regular status updates and ensure alignment of objectives with business goals.
