Boutique Recruiting is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee commercial ground-up construction projects from inception to completion in Michigan. You will manage schedules, budgets over $5 million, and coordinate with architects, subcontractors, and clients to ensure timelines, safety, and quality.

The role requires 5+ years of PM experience on commercial builds, strong HVAC/refrigeration knowledge for cold storage, and the ability to travel about twice monthly.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager on commercial ground-up construction.
• Strong understanding of refrigeration and HVAC systems for cold storage projects.
• Proven ability to develop schedules from the ground up.
• Valid driver's license and insurability.
• Experience in education/build projects, especially in South Carolina.
• OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 (30 within 6 months) preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee commercial projects focused on ground-up construction with budgets exceeding $5 million.
• Use Critical Path Method to develop and manage project schedules.
• Ensure client retention and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Salary Range: $115,000 - $150,000 / Year DOE

Project Manager Responsibilities

• Oversee commercial projects primarily focused on ground-up construction with budgets exceeding $5 million
• Utilize Critical Path Method to develop and manage project schedules effectively
• Ensure client retention and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
• Coordinate with various stakeholders, including architects, subcontractors, and clients
• Manage project buyouts and handle change orders under $200,000
• Travel to job sites as required, approximately twice a month for several days

Project Manager Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager on commercial projects, primarily ground-up construction
• Strong understanding of refrigeration and HVAC systems as they relate to cold storage projects
• Proven experience in developing schedules from the ground up
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable
• Experience in education and build projects, especially in South Carolina, is preferred
• Proof of repeat client projects is preferred
• OSHA 10 certification is preferred
• OSHA 30 certification is preferred (must obtain within 6 months)
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred
