Job description

We're partnering with one of the nation's premier integrated design-build firms to identify an accomplished Senior Project Manager for their growing Austin, Texas team.

This is an opportunity to lead some of the most complex and high-profile commercial projects in the region while working alongside an industry-leading team known for innovation, collaboration, and design-build excellence.

If you're looking for more than another project to manage—and want to help shape landmark developments from preconstruction through completion—this is a role worth exploring.

The Opportunity

Our client has an exceptional pipeline of work that includes large-scale healthcare and hospitality projects throughout Texas.

We're seeking a proven leader with experience managing projects such as:

  • Ground-up hospitals and major healthcare campuses
  • Luxury hotels, destination resorts, or other premier hospitality developments
  • Highly technical commercial projects requiring sophisticated planning, coordination, and execution

This is not a role focused on small medical office buildings or standard select-service hotels. We're looking for someone who has successfully led complex, high-value projects with demanding owners, extensive MEP systems, and multidisciplinary teams.

What You\'ll Do
  • Provide executive leadership from preconstruction through project closeout.
  • Oversee budgets, schedules, procurement strategies, risk management, and financial performance.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with owners, architects, consultants, and trade partners.
  • Lead project teams while mentoring Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers.
  • Partner closely with field leadership to proactively solve challenges and keep projects on schedule.
  • Drive collaboration across design, preconstruction, and operations teams to deliver exceptional results.
  • Ensure projects meet the highest standards for safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
What We\'re Looking For
  • 10+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects for a general contractor.
  • Demonstrated success leading large, ground-up healthcare and/or luxury hospitality projects.
  • Strong financial management experience, including budgets, forecasting, change management, and contract administration.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams through every phase of construction.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and client relationship skills.
  • Stable work history with a reputation for delivering complex projects successfully.
Why This Opportunity?

This is an opportunity to join a company consistently recognized as one of the industry's most respected builders, with an impressive backlog of marquee projects and a long-term commitment to the Texas market.

Their integrated approach brings design and construction together from day one, creating a highly collaborative environment where experienced project leaders have the opportunity to influence strategy, mentor teams, and deliver projects that leave a lasting impact.

If you're looking to take the lead on transformational healthcare and hospitality developments while advancing your career with one of the industry's top builders, we'd love to connect confidentially.
