Job summary

Qualifications

• 8–15+ years of industrial construction experience.
• 5+ years managing mechanical construction projects.
• Experience with Data Centers, Mission Critical, Industrial, or EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, chilled water, piping, plumbing and mechanical equipment installation.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and project controls.
• Working knowledge of Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam or Procore.
• Strong leadership, communication, client management and problem solving.

Lead Mechanical Construction on a Major Hyperscale Data Center

We're hiring an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee mechanical construction activities from project kickoff through turnover in Abernathy, Texas. This is an opportunity to lead complex mechanical scopes while driving safety, quality, schedule, productivity, and financial performance on a major hyperscale Data Center project.

What You Will Do

• Lead mechanical construction from project kickoff through turnover
• Manage schedules, staffing, subcontractors, and procurement
• Oversee HVAC, chilled water, piping, plumbing, fire protection, and mechanical equipment installation
• Coordinate with electrical, structural, civil, controls, and commissioning teams
• Manage budgets, forecasting, project controls, and change management
• Lead client meetings, progress updates, and issue resolution
• Drive subcontractor performance, productivity, and accountability
• Support commissioning, project closeout, and turnover
• Ensure safety, quality, and schedule objectives are achieved

What You Bring

• 8–15+ years of industrial construction experience
• 5+ years managing mechanical construction projects

Preferred Experience

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management, Data Center or other mission-critical construction experience, OSHA 30, PMP, or CCM certification.
