Job summary

AbelsonTaylor Group is seeking an Associate Director Project Management to lead complex, cross-functional projects in the health/pharma branding space. You will mentor Associate Project Managers, oversee budgets and timelines, and collaborate with client teams and partner agencies to ensure successful delivery.

You will drive process improvements, maintain risk controls, and contribute to SOW development and financial oversight across multiple brands.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in communications, marketing, and/or business administration.
• Experience: 7+ years in an advertising agency, with 2+ years of mentorship/leadership.
• Project management skills: track record of delivering best-in-class tactics and programs; understanding product lifecycles.
• Multimedia experience: managing projects across digital, video, and other formats.
• Software proficiency: WMJ, Workfront, Excel.
• Leadership and communication: proven leadership with client and team collaboration.
• Problem solving: adaptable leadership and problem-solving in changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead highly visible and complex projects requiring unique technology, processes, or workflows.
• Supervise Associate Project Managers on routing, approvals, and documentation; escalate as needed.
• Manage project budgets and timelines; monitor scope and communicate overages.
• Lead discussions with clients, partner agencies, and third parties on deliverables and budgets.
• Develop and review conference reports and meeting recaps; lead close-out meetings and action items.
• Identify and mitigate risks; collaborate with other departments on escalations.
• Develop annual SOWs from a PM perspective, outlining assets, costs, and timelines.
• Oversee client financial reporting and brand health through monthly billing summaries and analyses.
• Utilize WMJ/Workfront/Excel to automate tasks and promote process efficiencies.
• Lead cross-functional status meetings and provide PM insights to clients.
