Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Senior Project Leader to manage and drive multiple engineering projects on electrical and mechanical systems. You will provide technical direction, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure products meet cost, timing, and manufacturing requirements.

You will lead design reviews, manage risk, and push for innovation across tooling solutions while aligning with company goals and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering required; formal project management training preferred.
• Minimum 10 years engineering experience in related field.
• Experience managing multiple moderate-high complexity projects.
• Working design knowledge of Milwaukee products (mechanical/electrical).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership over moderate to highly complex engineering design projects and guide team members.
• Ensure project completion within budgetary and scheduling guidelines.
• Communicate technical details clearly to engineers and non-engineers across locations.
• Lead risk management discussions with cross-functional teams.
• Drive design to meet cost, timing, reliability, and manufacturing requirements.
• Evaluate design execution options and implement designs into mass production.
• Account for technical elements of project execution including components, materials, and safety.
• Conduct design and safety reviews to secure approvals for progressions.
• Track schedules, facilitate meetings, and present project status.
