ITASCA North America is seeking a Senior Project Hydrogeologist to lead hydrogeology and mine water projects across the U.S. and North America. The role involves independent project work, field investigations, and contributing to practical reporting.

Ideal candidates have 8–12 years of experience, an advanced degree, and registration or ability to obtain it. Strong writing, presentation, and management skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced degree in hydrogeology, environmental engineering, geochemistry, or related field.
• 8-12 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proven technical capability in hydrogeology or related field.
• Professional registration by a recognized organization, or ability to obtain.
• Experience with hydrogeologic field investigations, groundwater monitoring, and data interpretation.
• Experience developing or interpreting conceptual hydrogeologic models.
• Familiarity with groundwater flow and/or contaminant transport modeling.
• Effective technical writing, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage small- to medium-sized assignments or projects.
• Ability to support proposals, work programs, budgets, and client communication.

Aufgaben

• Support and manage hydrogeology, mine water, groundwater, and environmental projects.
• Plan, coordinate, and interpret field investigations, including drilling and monitoring.
• Develop and interpret conceptual hydrogeologic models.
• Support groundwater flow and contaminant transport modeling and documentation.
• Analyze hydrogeologic and environmental data.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and project deliverables.
• Manage small- to medium-sized projects, including scope, schedule, and budget.
• Communicate findings to teams, clients, regulators, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary experts and support business development.
