ITASCA North America is seeking a Senior Hydrogeologist to support mining, groundwater, and environmental projects across the U.S. and North America.

The role emphasizes field investigations, modeling, and technical reporting, with mining water management and dewatering as strong valued areas. Ideal candidates hold an advanced degree, 10–20 years of experience, professional registration, and demonstrated leadership in projects, with strong writing and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in hydrogeology, geochemistry, or environmental engineering.
• 10–20 years of relevant professional experience.
• Registration with a recognized professional organization, or ability to obtain.
• Experience with hydrogeologic field investigations and data interpretation.
• Experience with groundwater flow or contaminant transport modeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support hydrogeology, mine water, groundwater, and environmental projects.
• Plan, supervise, and interpret field investigations including drilling and sampling.
• Develop conceptual hydrogeologic models from data.
• Develop or review groundwater flow and contaminant transport models.
• Prepare technical reports, proposals, and scopes of work.
• Manage schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Communicate findings to clients and regulators.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff.
