Equilibrium is seeking an Intermediate Hydrogeologist to join our growing Hydrogeology team. This role will span hydrogeological investigations, groundwater monitoring, data analysis, and technical assessments across engineering, mining, and natural resources projects, with regular travel to U.S.

and Canadian project sites. You will work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to high-quality deliverables, and mentor junior staff while expanding your expertise in mine water management

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of consulting or industry experience in hydrogeology or mine dewatering.
• Experience planning hydrogeological investigations and groundwater monitoring.
• Experience interpreting hydrogeological data and developing conceptual models.
• Experience preparing technical reports and proposals.
• Proficiency with Excel, GIS, Leapfrog; SQL or Access is an asset.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead project activities.
• Experience in mining and bilingual EN/FR is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver hydrogeological investigations and field programs.
• Lead groundwater sampling, drilling, well installation and testing.
• Analyze data and develop hydrogeological models.
• Prepare technical reports and QA/QC documentation.
• Manage client and project relationships.
• Mentor junior staff and support business development.
• Ensure health and safety compliance on projects.
