Job summary

Apex Companies, LLC. is seeking a Project Geologist for a hybrid role in Northern California. The candidate will lead environmental investigations, groundwater and soil remediation, GIS mapping, and data analysis while coordinating with clients and regulatory agencies.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Geology, California PG licensure, 10+ years of environmental consulting experience, and strong technical writing and communication skills. OSHA 40-hour and HAZWOPER are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Geology or closely aligned field incl. field course.
• California PG licensed.
• 40-hour OSHA & 8-hour HAZWOPER refresher.

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental investigations and remediation planning for diverse clients.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and clients.
• Prepare and review remedial design documents and reports.
• Mentor junior staff and train on field procedures and GIS.
• Ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence on projects.
