Job summary

OMS Consulting Services, LLC seeks a Sr. Staff to Project-level Professional Geologist in Pleasant Hill, CA. These full-time positions require 5–10 years of experience in site investigations and regulatory filings, with background in SWPP/SPCC plans and remediation projects.

Occasional travel and overtime may be required. Ideal candidates will have familiarity with EPA, RCRA, CERCLA, DTSC, and RWQCB regulations, plus ability to manage field construction activities and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in geology with 5–10 years related experience or equivalent.
• California Professional Geologist (PG) license.
• California QSD or QSP and ability to obtain QSD within 6 months.
• Valid driver's license with ability to pass background checks and health exam.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Project management and technical lead for SWPP plans.
• Management of environmental site investigations and remediation projects.
• Design geologic investigations for remedial systems (groundwater, soil, etc.).
• Design and engineer construction stormwater and erosion control plans per RWQCB.
• Prepare SPCC plans per EPA requirements.
• Conduct geological, soil, and groundwater investigations and monitoring.
• Develop cost estimates, schedules, specifications, and proposals.
• Review and sign off on geological investigations and reports.
• Lead proposals and develop business with existing clients.
