Job summary

Reef Capital in Lehi, Utah, seeks a Senior Real Estate Risk & Portfolio Specialist to join our lending team. You will evaluate collateral risk across underwritten loans, review third‑party diligence, and support closings and portfolio monitoring.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in CRE appraisal, underwriting, or development, strong analytical judgment, and proficiency with Excel. Reef offers a supportive culture, competitive comp, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in real estate, business, engineering, urban planning, civil engineering, real estate development, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years experience in commercial real estate appraisal, underwriting, development, land acquisition, entitlement, due diligence, or related fields.
Strong understanding of commercial real estate valuation principles with experience reviewing appraisal reports and third‑party due diligence materials.
Knowledge of zoning, entitlement, land use, and development processes.

Responsibilities

Market and collateral analysis of local, regional, and national conditions and trends.
Review appraisal reports and market data; research comparables and development trends.
Review entitlement status, zoning, and land use regulations; evaluate approvals and timelines.
