Societe Generale is seeking a senior credit professional to manage a portfolio focused on Project Finance and Infrastructure. You will assess obligors, analyze historical performance, and determine credit approvals or recommendations for final decisions.

The role requires strong analytical abilities, cross-functional collaboration, and a track record of handling complex transactions. Reporting to the Real Assets Team Head, energy and infrastructure financing expertise is valued.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in financial services focusing on Project Finance & Infrastructure.
• Broad knowledge of non-recourse project finance risks and credit.
• Strong understanding of US market regulatory practices.
• Proven ability to analyze complex transactions and assess risk.
• Autonomous problem solving and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Credit assessment of Project Finance including Renewables, Data Centers and Infrastructure Finance.
• Provide explanation of obligor performance and key risk factors.
• Provide approval or recommendation for approval and document the decision.
• Validate Obligor Risk Ratings and Basle 4 parameters (LGDs).
• Monitor credit quality with quarterly reviews and watch-list participation.
• Track credit and market trends in banks and bond markets.
• Prepare reporting for RISQ management and Regulators.
• Contribute to credit policy guidelines and risk appetite.
• Assist in setting global risk appetite for financing initiatives.
• Assess SGCIB new business initiatives (white papers, New Product Committees).
